True love is elusive, but at some point in life, almost everyone is seized with a desire to find it. True Love is the blush on a maiden’s cheeks, it is the sparkle if stars on a clear night, it is the heat that drives the leaping flame, the inherent instability that creates a nuclear reaction. You get my drift.

Dating on the Internet, or ‘online dating’ as those crazy kids call it, has gotten a lot of bad press over the years, mostly because people fear that the Internet is mainly populated by axe wielding psychopaths who will drug you and lop the top of your skull off and eat your brain whilst you watch them.
While that is a real danger (and anyone dating online should definitely wear a safety helmet at all times for this very reason), there are greater dangers out there. The greatest danger of all however, is one that you will almost never see listed anywhere, but nevertheless affects a very large portion of the Internet dating community.

Look At His Friends
Do you hate his friends?
Are they womanizing asshats?
Do they have a different girl every day?
Is her name always Candy?
Do they expect you to get beer for them when the game is on?
Do they make you uncomfortable with requests for unprotected intimate group activities such as networking with the firewall off?
Having idiotic woman hating friends alone doesn’t make him a player, but it does make him a poor judge of character. It’s also a sign that your character judgment skills might be in need of a brush up too.
Remember that love can make us blind, so whilst you might think he is a perfect angel, in reality he is probably just like his jerk friends. Friendships are formed out of the bonds of common interests and shared values, so beware the man whose friends put the ezy in sleazy.
Remember, eagles do not rut in the dirt with pigs.
